The NI AT-MIO-16L-9 is a multifunction I/O board for data acquisition and control applications in laboratory automation, industrial control, and data logging. It integrates 16 configurable analog inputs (8 differential), 2 analog outputs, 8 digital TTL I/O lines, and 3 counter/timer channels on a single ISA-based card. The board delivers 12-bit resolution across all analog functions with sampling rates up to 100 kS/sec and conversion times of 9 microseconds per channel. Dual-channel DMA and 256-word FIFOs enable sustained high-speed data transfer without loss of samples, even under high interrupt latency conditions.
