Operating within a PXI platform, it delivers output power from -145 dBm to +13 dBm (or -145 dBm to +10 dBm depending on configuration) with 130 dB of adjustable gain. The module integrates with compatible arbitrary waveform generators to enable complex signal generation for RF applications. Its high-stability OCXO timebase—featuring ±20 ppb frequency stability and ±50 ppb accuracy—supports multiple synchronization sources including external references and the PXI backplane. Real-time bandwidth reaches 20 MHz or 22 MHz. The PXI-5610 occupies a 2-slot, 3U form factor and operates across 0 °C to 55 °C with a 30-minute warm-up requirement. Front-panel SMA connectors provide RF output, IF input, local oscillator, reference clock, and clock distribution to paired AWG modules. Trigger import/export functionality spans the PXI trigger bus, star trigger line, and front-panel SMA connectors, enabling precise timing across multi-module systems.
