The Protek 3003B is a single-output DC power supply engineered for laboratory testing, education, and electronics development. It delivers adjustable voltage from 0 to ±30 V DC and current from 0 to ±3 A DC with linear topology that ensures low-noise, stable outputs ideal for sensitive circuit work.
Technical Specifications
Output capability spans 0 to ±30 V DC at 0 to ±3 A DC. In Constant Voltage mode, load regulation measures ≤ 0.02% + 2 mV, line regulation ≤ 0.02% + 2 mV, and ripple/noise remains below 1 mV RMS. Constant Current mode delivers load regulation of ≤ 0.05% + 5 mA, line regulation ≤ 0.05% + 0.25 mA, and ripple/noise at 2 mA RMS.
A 3-digit LED display provides real-time readout with 100 mV resolution for voltage and 10 mA resolution for current, accurate to ±(0.5% + 3d). The front panel includes coarse and fine voltage adjustment knobs, current adjustment control, and a push-button load disconnect switch. Separate CV and CC indicator lamps signal operating mode. Power input accepts 120 V or 220 V AC (selectable) with approximately 190 VA consumption.
Operating temperature range is 0 to 32°C with current derating above 35°C at 1% per degree Celsius. The unit measures 6.3 inches (H) × 5.0 inches (W) × 13.0 inches (D) and weighs approximately 15 lbs.
