The Ribbon/Performance Technologies IPnexus CPC308 is an eight-port T1/E1/J1 TDM/IP edge processor engineered for translating legacy Time-Division Multiplexing traffic into IP-based transport. This PC/104-Plus form-factor module bridges TDM and IP environments, enabling telecommunications operators and enterprises to extend circuit-switched infrastructure across modern packet networks while reducing operational overhead. Built on an 800 MHz PowerPC processor with TCP acceleration hardware, the CPC308 handles up to 256 HDLC channels and delivers deterministic TDM-to-IP conversion without protocol degradation.
