Rigol RSA3030E – Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer

The Rigol RSA3030E is a real-time spectrum analyzer for engineers and system integrators requiring advanced signal analysis from 9 kHz to 3 GHz. Built on Ultra-Real technology, it delivers seamless I/Q data acquisition with a 7.45 µs minimum signal duration detection at 100% probability of intercept—ideal for capturing transient and sporadic RF events in complex environments. The instrument operates in two primary modes: traditional Sweep Spectrum Analyzer (GPSA) and Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer (RTSA), with real-time analysis bandwidth of 10 MHz standard (40 MHz optional). Resolution bandwidth spans 1 Hz to 3 MHz with dedicated EMI presets at 200 Hz, 9 kHz, 120 kHz, and 1 MHz. Typical displayed average noise level reaches ≤–161 dBm, phase noise ≤–102 dBc/Hz, and level measurement uncertainty < 1.0 dB nominal. A 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch display (1024×600 pixels) provides intuitive control, supported by full connectivity: USB Host (4 ports), USB Device, dual LAN (100/1000Base), and HDMI 1.4b. The 50 Ω input accepts SMB male, BNC female, and N-type connectors. Internal reference stability is < 1 ppm standard or < 0.1 ppm with optional OCXO-C08. Maximum input voltage is 50 V. Sweep time achieves 1 ms across full span, with amplitude measurement capability from 1 to 200 dB logarithmic or 0 to reference linear. Measurement options include EMI Receiver (Option RSA3000E-EMI), ASK/FSK Digital Demodulation (Option RSA3000E-ASK/FSK), and Scalar Network Analyzer (–TG model). Housed in a compact 410 mm × 224 mm × 135 mm form factor, the RSA3030E targets IoT, RFID, and wireless communications analysis.
