The Sofradir/Electrophysics MicronViewer 7290A is a near-infrared CCTV camera engineered for high-sensitivity imaging across the 400 nm to 1.9 µm spectral range. It delivers precise, real-time video output in both RS-170 (60 Hz) and CCIR (50 Hz) formats, making it adaptable to diverse imaging workflows.
The camera employs a high-performance lead-oxysulfide vidicon detector with a 9.5 × 12.7 mm scanned area. Horizontal resolution reaches 700 TV lines with a dynamic range of 100:1 and signal-to-noise ratio of 55 dB (p-p/rms) or better. Internal shading correction and selectable gain control (3-position manual or automatic) optimize image quality across varying light conditions. Decay lag after 50 ms is specified at 45–60%.
Optional extended spectral response to 2.2 µm enables measurement and inspection applications spanning the visible-to-shortwave infrared boundary. The integral optical filter slide accepts 25 mm filters—long-pass, short-pass, band-pass, or neutral density—to tailor spectral transmission without external adapters. C-mount lens compatibility provides flexibility in focal length and f-number selection.
