The Sorensen DCS55-55E is a 3 kW programmable DC power supply engineered for high-density power applications in R&D labs, automated test equipment (ATE) systems, and manufacturing test and burn-in processes. It delivers 0–55 VDC at 0–55 ADC with switch-mode technology, automatic CV/CC crossover, and 16-bit programming resolution via Ethernet. The low-profile chassis integrates precise front-panel adjustment, digital voltage and current display, and extensive remote programming options including LXI-compliant Ethernet, RS-232C, IEEE-488, isolated analog control, and multichannel slave capability. Remote sensing compensates for lead drop up to 4 V per line. Built-in protection includes adjustable overvoltage protection (OVP), over-temperature shutdown, and external TTL/AC/DC shutdown inputs. Input accepts 190–250 VAC three-phase (or degraded single-phase) or 200–250 VAC single-phase operation at 14 A typical (three-phase) or 20 A typical (single-phase). Units support parallel or series interconnection for increased current or voltage.
