The AE Techron 7782 is a single-channel power amplifier from the 7000 series designed for high-current, high-voltage applications including EMC testing and MRI systems. This remanufactured unit delivers 3305 W RMS continuous into 2 Ω loads with peak bursts to 150 A into 1 Ω. Operating in voltage or current mode, the 7782 achieves up to 150 V peak and 92 A RMS (0.5 Ω, 5 min), with a 40 V/µs slew rate and gain of 20 V/V or 20 A/V depending on configuration. The amplifier operates DC to 50 kHz at rated power into 8 Ω, extending to 100 kHz at reduced power. Output offset remains under 5 mV (field adjustable to <1 mV), with ±1.5 mV DC drift. Multiple units interconnect for system outputs exceeding 500 V peak and 600 A peak. The 7782 accepts three-phase 208 VAC ±10%, 47–60 Hz input (20 A draw) and drives resistive and inductive loads of 2 Ω or less. Input impedance is 20 kΩ differential across balanced terminal blocks. Optional "P" variants provide precision offset control via 20-turn trim, achieving <200 µV output offset and <100 µV field adjustment.
