The Tektronix 465M is a portable dual-channel analog oscilloscope engineered for general-purpose electronic testing and troubleshooting. Delivering 100 MHz bandwidth with a bright 8 × 10 cm CRT display, the 465M provides calibrated vertical and horizontal controls, variable triggering modes, and a delay line for capturing leading edge transients. Built with soldered-in semiconductors for enhanced reliability, this commercial variant of the military-standard AN/USM-425 has been in service since 1977.

– Key Features
• Dual-channel configuration for simultaneous waveform capture
• Delay line enables viewing of leading edge phenomena without pre-triggering
• Variable trigger holdoff stabilizes captures on aperiodic or complex digital signals
• Quick-change voltage selector accommodates regional utility standards
– Typical Applications
• General-purpose analog circuit troubleshooting and characterization
• Digital signal timing analysis and validation
• Transient capture and edge-rate measurement
• AC and DC signal measurement across industrial and laboratory environments
– Compatibility & Integration
The 465M maintains front panel layout compatibility with the Tektronix 465 model. Standard 1 MΩ input impedance accepts conventional analog probes. Dual independent vertical channels enable differential measurements when configured with appropriate probing techniques.
