The Tektronix 422 is a portable dual-trace oscilloscope engineered for field service and general electronic testing. With DC to 15 MHz bandwidth and a 4-inch CRT display, it delivers clear signal visualization in compact form. The instrument operates on AC line power or—in the AC/DC model—external DC (11.5V to 35V) or internal rechargeable batteries for approximately 4 hours per charge. Rugged construction and wide operating temperature range (-15°C to +55°C without batteries) make it suitable for demanding field environments up to 15,000 ft altitude.
