Teledyne LeCroy T3AFG200 – Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generator, 200 MHz, 2 Channels

The Teledyne LeCroy T3AFG200 is a 2-channel function and arbitrary waveform generator delivering 200 MHz bandwidth with 2.4 GS/s sampling rate and 16-bit vertical resolution. It generates standard waveforms—sine, square, pulse, ramp, DC, noise, and PRBS—plus 196 built-in arbitrary waveforms with user-defined capability across a 20 Mpts memory depth per channel. Output reaches 20 Vpp into high impedance loads and 10 Vpp into 50 Ω loads below 20 MHz, with minimum amplitudes as low as 1 mVpp at 50 Ω. The generator supports analog modulation (AM, DSB-AM, FM, PM), digital modulation (FSK, ASK, PSK, PWM), linear and logarithmic sweep modes with sweep times from 1 ms to 500 s, and burst operation in N-cycle and gated modes. Cycle-to-cycle jitter measures 100 ps (rms) in TrueArb mode at 1 Vpp into 50 Ω, with minimum rise/fall times of 2.6 ns. An integrated frequency counter spans 100 mHz to 400 MHz with 8-digit resolution. Connectivity includes USB (host and device with USBTMC), LAN with VXI-11 support, 10 MHz reference clock I/O, and dedicated sweep/burst trigger inputs. Optional IQ modulation is available. This instrument serves design verification, signal characterization, and system-level testing across communications, power electronics, and RF applications.
