The Westover P5000 Series is a digital probe microscope engineered for automated inspection and analysis of fiber optic connector end faces. Connected via USB 2.0 to a PC or laptop, the system delivers high-resolution imaging and objective PASS/FAIL assessment based on IEC 61300-3-35 compliance criteria. It identifies and characterizes defects, contamination, scratches, and particles on fiber cores with sub-micrometer sensitivity, eliminating subjective interpretation and ensuring consistent grading across network installations.
