Equipment info

The HP/Agilent 6683A is a 5000 W DC power supply engineered for high-current, precision testing and system integration. Delivering 0–32 V and 0–160 A with programming accuracy of 0.04% + 32 mV (voltage) and 0.1% + 85 mA (current), it meets demanding requirements in automated test environments. Output ripple and noise measure 1.0 mV RMS and 10 mV peak-to-peak across 20 Hz to 20 MHz. The unit supports analog voltage and current modulation via 0 to –5 V and 0 to +5 V input signals respectively, with full-load programming response of 9 ms. Protection includes programmable over-voltage and over-current limits, over-temperature shutdown, and discrete fault indicator/remote inhibit capability.
