The HP/Agilent 8720B is a 20 GHz network analyzer engineered for precise characterization of microwave components and networks. Operating from 130 MHz to 20 GHz, it measures complex transmission and reflection characteristics—S-parameters, magnitude, phase, and group-delay response—across two-port devices in the frequency domain.
Technical Specifications
Frequency & Resolution
• Frequency range: 130 MHz to 20 GHz
• Frequency resolution: 1 Hz (Option 001)
• Fast-sweeping synthesized source
