The ILX Lightwave LDC-3900 is a 4-channel modular laser diode controller delivering independent, isolated control and monitoring of laser diodes and thermoelectric coolers across research, development, and production environments. The instrument accommodates four rear-loading module bays configured with laser diode current source modules (20 mA to 8 A maximum output), TEC modules (up to 32 W), or combination current source/TEC modules (up to 2 A current source with integrated temperature control). Each channel operates with fully isolated, electrically floating modules to eliminate ground-loop damage, supported by transient detection circuits, keyswitch control, interlock protection, and output delay to meet CDRH US21 requirements.
