The Keithley 4200-PA Remote Preamplifier Module extends the low-current measurement capabilities of the Keithley 4200-SCS Parameter Analyzer by adding five additional current ranges and enabling measurements down to 0.1 fA resolution. By positioning amplification circuitry near the signal source, the module minimizes noise and signal degradation over cable runs. It integrates transparently with compatible SMUs and can be factory-installed locally or mounted remotely on a probe platen or within a shielded enclosure for further noise mitigation.
