The PXI-2567 is a 64-channel external relay driver module for PXI systems, delivering high-density switching control in a compact 3U form factor. It provides independent channel control organized in eight banks of eight channels, with per-channel drive capability up to 600 mA and module-level current handling to 25 A. Maximum external drive voltage reaches 50 V DC, supported by selectable internal power supplies at 5 V and 12 V. Built-in protection circuitry safeguards against overvoltage (80 V threshold), overcurrent (1.5 A minimum), and over-temperature (150 °C junction) conditions on each channel. The module achieves 60 μs single-channel operate time and supports triggering from PXI lines 0–7 or front panel inputs with 150 ns minimum pulse width recognition. Output triggers are software-selectable from 1 μs to 62 μs pulse width and route to PXI trigger lines. A 78-pin D-SUB connector interfaces with external relay and switching systems. Operating temperature range spans 0 °C to 55 °C. Maximum operating speed is 150 operations per second. User-replaceable fuses protect internal 5 V and 12 V power supplies.
