The NI PXI-4065 is a 6.5-digit digital multimeter designed for integration into PXI modular test systems. It delivers precise measurements across DC voltage, AC voltage, DC current, resistance, diode characteristics, frequency, temperature, and capacitance—making it suitable for automated test applications requiring high accuracy and repeatability.
Technical Specifications
Measurement Ranges & Accuracy
DC voltage measurement spans 100 mV to 300 V with typical accuracy ranging from 65–75 ppm of range plus 6–35 ppm of reading, depending on range. Input impedance exceeds 10 GΩ on lower ranges (100 mV to 10 V) and 10 MΩ on higher ranges (100 V, 300 V). AC voltage capability extends to 300 VACrms (450 VAC peak) with 10 MΩ input impedance in parallel with 200 pF.
DC current measurement includes five ranges from 1 mA to 3 A, with 3 A maximum continuous current protected by a user-replaceable 4 A fast-acting fuse. Accuracy runs from 65–75 ppm of range plus 50 ppm of reading, with additional nonlinearity corrections above 1.5 A.
Resistance measurement operates in 2-wire or 4-wire configuration across 10 Ω to 100 MΩ ranges. Four-wire accuracy spans 65–110 ppm of range plus 6–35 ppm of reading. Two-wire measurements require offset nulling or add 200 mΩ to specification.
