Power Ten 6101A

The Power Ten 6101A is a regulated DC power supply delivering 0–20 VDC at 0–1 A output current, designed for precision applications requiring exceptional voltage stability and low noise. Built on switching technology with PWM and zero-crossing topology, it accepts 105–125 VAC or 210–250 VAC single-phase input (48–63 Hz, 52W, 0.5A) and provides load regulation better than 0.001% + 600 µV on front terminals or 0.001% + 100 µV on rear terminals. Line regulation remains below 0.001% across the input voltage range. Output ripple and noise measure < 100 µV peak-to-peak and < 40 µV RMS under all rated conditions. The unit supports both front-panel and remote voltage/current programming via rear terminals, with remote sensing for precision load compensation. Temperature stability is < 0.005% + 30 µV/°C (front control) or < 0.001% + 10 µV/°C (remote programming) after warm-up. Eight-hour drift is < 0.01% + 300 µV (front) or < 0.01% + 100 µV (remote), with one-month stability at < 0.012% + 120 µV for remote programming. Output impedance ranges from < 0.002 Ω DC to 100 Hz up to < 3 Ω from 100 kHz to 1 MHz. Remote programming uses 1000 Ω/V with 0.1% + 1 mV accuracy.
