The Rigol RP1004C is a Hall effect current probe engineered for AC and DC current measurements across a DC to 100 MHz bandwidth. It delivers 50 A peak current capability and measures current from 5 mA to 30 A in both AC and DC modes. The probe uses a thin-film Hall effect sensing element to provide accurate, non-intrusive current detection without breaking circuit connections. Output sensitivity is 0.1 V/A at 1 MΩ input impedance and 0.05 V/A at 50 Ω. The compact form factor accommodates conductors up to 5 mm in diameter, enabling measurements in confined board layouts and component-dense assemblies.
