This portable instrument automatically measures capacitor value, leakage current, equivalent series resistance (ESR), and dielectric absorption, while inductors are analyzed for value and quality using patented test methods. Results display on a clear LCD in GOOD/BAD format against user-defined or EIA standards, with automatic lead zeroing that compensates for test lead capacitance, resistance, and inductance to ensure accuracy on small components.
