The Spanawave 7022 is a 4×16 single-wire matrix module engineered for signal routing in automated test equipment (ATE) and communication systems. This 3U PXI form factor module delivers >70 MHz bandwidth with -50 dB crosstalk at 50 MHz and -0.55 dB insertion loss, making it suitable for precision switching applications requiring maintained signal integrity. Triple ground planes and stripline design ensure a consistent 50-ohm impedance path from connector to relay. The module supports 1.5 A current, includes verification circuitry for control signals and relay coil integrity, and maintains a time-stamped service record in built-in memory. Contact resistance is below 150 mΩ, with a relay life expectancy of 1 billion cycles. Operating temperature ranges from 0° to 50°C, with storage capability from -40° to 75°C. The module accepts operating humidity from 10 to 90% (non-condensing) and carries CE Mark compliance. As part of the Ascor 7000 Series PIXIE products, the 7022 integrates into standard PXI chassis architectures while maintaining the low-noise design principles characteristic of Giga-tronics switching solutions.
