The TekPower HY3005D is a single-channel variable linear DC power supply delivering regulated 0–30V DC at 0–5A with continuous voltage and current adjustment. The unit operates in both constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) modes with automatic crossover, providing stable output suitable for electronics testing, repair, and development work. Dual-level coarse and fine controls enable precise setting of both voltage and current parameters. An LCD display simultaneously monitors output voltage and current in real time.
Technical Specifications
Output voltage ranges from 0–30V DC with selectable input voltage operation at 110V or 220V AC (±10%). The supply accepts 104–127V AC at 60Hz or 207–253V AC at 50Hz. Output current capability is 0–5A DC.
Line regulation in CV mode is ≤0.01% + 1mV, while CC mode achieves ≤0.2% + 1mA. Load regulation varies with current: CV mode delivers ≤0.01% + 3mV up to 3A and ≤0.01% + 5mV above 3A; CC mode maintains ≤0.2% + 3mA to 3A and ≤0.2% + 5mA beyond 3A. Source effect is ≤0.02% + 1mV; load effect is ≤0.01% + 5mV.
Ripple and noise specifications depend on load current. At 3A or below, CV mode noise is ≤0.5mVrms and CC mode is ≤3mArms. Above 3A, CV noise reaches ≤1.0mVrms and CC noise ≤6mArms. Overall ripple and noise is ≤1mVrms.
Display accuracy is ±1% + 2 digits for voltage and ±1.5% + 2 digits for current.
