The Xantrex XFR35-35 is a 1200 W programmable DC power supply engineered for research, product development, production test, and OEM applications demanding clean, precisely regulated power. Operating from 0–35 Vdc at 0–35 A, the unit employs zero voltage soft switching technology to virtually eliminate switching transients, reducing noise and thermal output while extending component life. Full rated power is delivered across the entire 0–50 °C operating range without derating. The supply accepts dual AC input ranges (85–130 Vac and 190–264 Vac, 47–63 Hz) and operates in both constant voltage and constant current modes.
Output quality is exceptional: 50 mVp-p noise (0–20 MHz), 8 mV voltage ripple (rms), and 60 mA current ripple (rms). Load regulation holds to 3 mV on voltage and 5 mA on current; line regulation to 5.5 mV and 5.5 mA respectively. Voltage drift over 8 hours is 17.5 mV with temperature coefficient of 7 mV/°C. Built-in LED voltmeter (0.3 mV / 0.5% accuracy) and ammeter (0.3 mA / 0.5% accuracy) provide real-time output monitoring.
