The Sorensen SRL40-25 is a 1000 W DC power supply delivering 0–40 Vdc and 0–25 Adc with three independent regulation modes: Constant Voltage, Constant Current, and Constant Power with automatic crossover. Designed for laboratory, industrial testing, and electronic development environments, it combines SCR pre-regulation with linear series-pass topology for high efficiency. The unit features exceptional voltage regulation (0.01% of setting or 2 mV, whichever is greater) and stable current regulation across line and load variations. Transient response of 150 µs for 100% change and zero overshoot at turn-on, turn-off, and power failure ensure signal integrity in precision applications. Remote programming, remote sensing, and configurable overvoltage protection are standard. Series operation extends to 200 Vdc; parallel configurations support up to three units in master-slave mode. Bench or rack mounting with front-mounted binding posts rated for 25 A output. Fan-cooled design operates from 105–125 Vac, 47–53 Hz or 57–63 Hz input.
